"We have been handed a clear direction to go where the need is greatest - with the folks in Texas hardest hit by Hurricane Harvey. We pray you will join us."

– Cory Morrow

"The Salvation Army is committed to helping families who are trying to get their lives back together in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Sure hope we can provide a little ray of hope for the folks who need it the most."

– Joe Ogilvie

"At Rock the Red Kettle ATX, something happens that transcends music. There's an all-too-rare, heart-swelling sense of Texas pride, a new level of energetic inspiration, and an emotional (even spiritual) fulfillment that unfolds."

– Bob Cole

THANK YOU! $460,000 RAISED IN 2017!

Rock the Red Kettle ATX 2017 presented by KOKE FM and The Horn was a huge success thanks to your presence and enthusiastic support! In addition to providing more than 950,000 meals to survivors and first responders during the first few weeks, The Salvation Army continues to provide long-term support as people across 47 counties are rebuilding their lives. The Salvation Army is committed to providing direct financial assistance and support to these clients in all impacted communities throughout the coming months and years. Your support helps make all of this possible.

Right now, the need throughout our community remains great. People who needed help before the storm are still coming to our doors. And then there are those neighbors working to recover from the long-lasting effects of Hurricane Harvey.

Your gift today will help bring The Salvation Army’s full range of assistance and support to all of our local neighbors in need, whatever circumstances have led them to ask for help.

MUSICIANS WANTED

The music continues after the concert! Spearheaded by Austin’s own Cory Morrow, Rock the Red Kettle ATX is also a project that enlists artists of all genres to perform next to one of the Army’s iconic Red Kettles in the Live Music Capital of the World during the Christmas season. Artists who donate their time are encouraged to promote their performance on social media and invite their fans to come out and show their support for the music and for The Salvation Army in Austin.

Performance slots are available Monday through Saturday from 10am to 2pm at The Domain Christmas Tree near Macy’s.
